Terms & Conditions for Sheltrx
By accessing or using the SheltrX platform (web or mobile application), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.
1. Use of Device Permissions
To provide core platform functionality, SheltrX may request access to certain device features, including but not limited to:
- Bluetooth (BLE): Used for in/out movement tracking through supported devices installed at PGs, apartments, or hostels.
- Camera Access: Used strictly for QR code scanning purposes such as food menu access, meal check-ins, visitor passes, or entry verification.
By granting these permissions, users consent to their use solely for the intended operational purposes of the platform.
2. Aadhaar & Identity Verification (PG Only)
For PG onboarding, SheltrX facilitates Aadhaar-based verification through authorized digital services. Through this process, the platform may fetch user details such as:
- Full Name
- Parent/Guardian Name
- Date of Birth
- Address
- Other details made available by the official digital source
SheltrX does not independently modify or misuse this data and uses it strictly for verification and compliance purposes.
3. Role of SheltrX
SheltrX is a software and management platform only.
We do not own, operate, or manage any PG, hostel, apartment, or institution.
SheltrX is not responsible for:
- Tenant behavior
- Employee or staff conduct
- Financial disputes
- Physical incidents within the premises
4. Tenant & Staff Conduct
Any misconduct, illegal activity, non-payment, disturbance, or damage caused by tenants, residents, visitors, or employees is solely the responsibility of the respective PG owner or institution.
SheltrX is not liable for:
- Rent non-payment by tenants
- Property damage
- Personal disputes
- Law-and-order issues
Our responsibility is limited strictly to providing software functionality and digital records.
5. Payments & Billing (Platform Usage)
- PG owners or organizations using SheltrX are required to pay the platform usage fee as per the agreed pricing.
- All bills generated for SheltrX services must be cleared at the agreed rate.
- Payments must be made within 40 days of invoice generation.
Failure to clear dues within this period may result in:
- Temporary suspension of services
- Permanent data deletion as per internal policy
6. Data Retention & Deletion
- If an organization discontinues using SheltrX, their data remains available for export upon request.
- Data will be shared in a reasonable format where technically feasible.
- In case of technical limitations or system constraints, SheltrX may not guarantee full data recovery.
If payments remain unpaid beyond the allowed period, SheltrX reserves the right to delete organizational data, including tenant and operational records.
7. Limitation of Liability
SheltrX shall not be held responsible for:
- Any misuse of data by owners or institutions
- Any verification outcome despite Aadhaar or ID validation
- Any loss arising from incorrect operational decisions
Verification services are provided “as-is” based on available digital records.
